This is a short post to say hello.  I am getting better at the modern iteration of this craft.  I enjoy the challenge.

Again, thanks for hanging around as I work through the learning curve.  How nice it would have been to have all these tools available in the 70's...

Cheers

More photos

So, I am still trying a variety of techniques and trying to resharpen old skills.  I picked up a very short, very fast lens.  The majority of these photos are the results of a couple of hours efforts with this lens.    These photos are software unprocessed except as noted.  I am trying to learn new to me lenses and camera.  The long exposure techniques are very similar to my old familiar film format, just somewhat different because of the digital sensor needing noise reduction during long exposure shots.

I find Alpine to have no shortage of subjects and should be both fun and rewarding as my skills broaden. I have waited on weeks of rain to subside to get back out and do photography.  It looks like we may be going back to normal.

Thanks for playing along and waiting patiently for me to progress.
